My baby,My sister.

My baby, my sister One day, when I four My parents came home, With a baby girl I looked at them, With an ocean of questions in my eyes. "Look! She is your l'il sister" And gave me a glimpse of her. I saw her, tiny and delicate Face to pink and pale. Hands and legs so small. Lips so soft and pea-size ears. Eyes so sparkling, with charms in it. Never seen anything so beautiful To flutter my heart, for so long. There she was a gift, a precious one. My baby, my sister! She grew up an inch by inch, Year by year And I wouldn’t spare a moment To be with her, play with her. Or at times just watch her sleep. When she first held my hand, that moment That very moment, Made me her protector, her slave! I raised a baby on my own And I called her my sister. She is the one full of mischief, That never fails to put a smile on me. With heart of gold and purity in her soul Sometimes stubborn, sometimes full of anger
